Step-by-Step Guide to Setup Fitbit Versa 2
Step1: Install The Companion App:
The first thing you’ll need to do is set up the Fitbit Versa on your phone. To start, open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search for “Fitbit” in their respective stores.
Once it pops up, install the app and then open it when prompted by your device’s operating system.
Step 2: Sign into/Create a Fitbit Account
Open the App on your smartphone, and log into your Fitbit account. If you don’t have an account, sign up for a new one. Just follow the on-screen instructions, it won’t take more than 2 minutes.
Step 3: Pairing The Versa 2 with the phone
After you log into your account, find the profile icon up at the left corner of your phone and then tap on ‘setup a device’.
There you will find all devices by the company, find and tap on Fitbit Versa 2. The on-screen instruction would include ‘terms & conditions’ and an animation that would instruct you to charge the device as you pair it. (We have already done this step).
As you move next, the app would start looking for your Fitbit. The moment it finds the watch, a 4-digit code would appear on the Versa 2. You would have to put that code manually into the smartphone app.
Further, the app would instruct you to connect to the Wi-Fi so it can install the latest version of FitbitOS on the Versa 2.
Congratulations, you have successfully paired your Versa 2 to the phone.
Follow the same steps in order to connect Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Versa 3 to your IPhone/Android Phone.
