Best Smartwatches For LG Phones | LG V40, Stylo 6, G8X, G8S ThinQ, WING 5G

LG Watch W7 was released two years ago and all it did best was ruining LG’s reputation. The company’s foray into the smartwatch market has been a disaster. Since the W7 fiasco, LG has become warier of entering uncharted territories.

For the past few years, LG has not announced any new smartwatch, and presumably, it has shelved the project altogether

So if you are looking for an LG smartwatch, save the trouble, don’t read the article. We have not added even a single LG watch in this article.

Rather, you will find smartwatches that are highly compatible with LG smartphones. Plus, we have labeled them on the basis of their key features for the convenience of readers.

Another thing to keep in mind is that rarely any company manufactures watches for a special phone series(Apple Watch). Most of the time, the watches are not developed for a single phone.

So, the LG compatible smartwatches we will find here will work perfectly fine with other Android Smartphones, in case you decide to change the phone. Plus, they will even work with iOS devices.

So without further ado let’s get to the first pick. Below is a table of content to help you navigate through the article, feel free to jump to the review section if you are already sure about the compatibility.

Otherwise,  we would recommend you to go through the compatibility chart and buying guide at least once.

Not only that, but it will also be compatible with Samsung, Google Pixel, Oneplus, and other famous Android-supported devices.

Best Cheap Smartwatches for LG Phones: Under $50

Willful Smart Watch—Cheapest Smartwatch For LG SmartPhones

Features:

  • Display: LCD TFT display about 1.3 in size
  • Sensors:  heart-rate monitor,  Sleep tracker, breathe guide
  • Battery: 6-7 days (takes 2 hours to fully charge)
  • Weight: 6.7 Oz
  • Water and dust resistance:  IP68 Rated
  • Color: 7 colors
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth

Compatibility Requirement:

Willful Smartwatch is compatible with Android 4.4 above smartphones, so you can connect older LG smartphone models with it. (like LG W30, W20, K20, W10)

Review:

The willful smartwatch offers more than 5 days of battery life, has a modern outlook and, above all, costs almost nothing. An excellent match for your old dying-out LG models (G5, G6, K10)

This watch can only perform one function related to fitness tracking: heart rate tracking. The data for sleep tracking is unreliable, and the breath guide is subpar.

So, if you are looking for a fitness tracker, better look for Amazfit Bip, Ticwatch E2(Discountinued officially, but refurbished version available).

Also, the labeling of ‘connected GPS’ must not confuse you as it means the watch will use the GPS of your smartphone. Connected GPS drains the phone’s battery fast, and if you are using an outdated model of LG, better not use it.

Surprisingly enough, the smartwatch is IP68 rated which means it is pretty tough. To put things in perspective, dust and water ingression is a remote possibility in regular conditions. You can even submerge it in water for up to 10 m.

The watch shows notifications (texts, calls, and Social Media) but you can’t respond to them. All you can have is a limited preview of the important notifications.

In the design department, the company has done appreciable work. LCD TFT display is touch-enabled.( 1.3 in size) It is bright enough for outdoor environments. Silicone bands are comfortable and interchangeable.

Our Verdict:

Though the watch works perfectly fine with the latest and old LG smartphones, you should buy the watch if you are interested in basic smartwatch functions.

As a fitness tracker, it is not as reliable as expensive watches like Garmin Forerunner, Fitbit Versa 2, and Fossil Gen 5. However, like a smartwatch, it covers the basics perfectly fine.

Yamay Smartwatch 2020: Put Expensive Watches To Shame

  • Display: 1.28 inch 3D curved HD touch screen
  • Sensors:  heart-rate monitor,  Sleep tracker
  • Battery: 7-8 days (takes 2 hours to fully charge)
  • Weight: 5.3 Oz
  • Water and dust Resistance:  IP68 Rated
  • Color: Black, Pink Gold, Silver
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth

Compatibility Criteria:

LG Phones with iOS 9.0 and above Or Android 5.0 and above are compatible.

Review:

If you have time we would recommend you to watch the video till the end. You will be fascinated to know how a $50 watch can beat giants like Apple Watches in design, data tracking, and features.

Apple does have the upper hand when it comes to advanced features like blood oxygen tracking, GPS and LTE but what a shame that one has to pay more than 5x the price.

This round face watch will add maximum value to your life without having you fork out extra money on it.

Starting with the design, it has taken inspiration from Samsung Active series. 1.28 inch dial and 3D curved HD touch screen lends it elegance and class a privilege in past for expensive Samsung and Apple smartwatches.

To the delight of its clients, YAMAY has made this exclusive watch that has unlimited watch faces (watch faces are customizable

Other than heart rate and sleep tracking, it has little fitness tracking prowess. However as a plus, it tracks accurately.

On the other hand, its smartwatch features are appreciable. Notification alert is right there to keep you updated on important text, calls and SNS. However, you cannot reply to any of them. For that, you will have to take out your phone.

The watch relies on Bluetooth technology to connect to your smartphone. Expectedly,  Advanced features like GPS, NFC, and Wifi are missing

It is durable. Speaking of durability, the watch is IP68 rated which means that it can be submerged in water up to 50m in standard conditions. As a precautionary measure, you should not dip it below 10m.

Our Verdict:

If you own low-end LG smartphones (LG W30, W20, K20, W10), it’s better not to waste money on high-tech watches. This YAMAY smartwatch will not disappoint you in style, durability, or tracking accuracy. And on top of that, it is super cheap.

Amazfit GTS 2 Mini

  • Sensors:   SpO2 Level Measurement, Heart Rate, Sleep, Stress Level Monitoring
  • Battery: 14 days
  • Water and dust resistance:  5 ATM (50meter)
  • Band Material: Silicone
  • Weight: 1.12 Oz
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth

Compatibility Criteria:

In terms of compatibility, the Amazfit GTS 2 mini is compatible with devices running at least Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0.

Review:

Amazfit is an international brand with major smartwatch shares in Asia. It gained popularity in late 2018 when it delivered inexpensive, yet top-notch smartwatches that were at par with performance to the expensive Samsung and Apple Alternative.

Amazfit GTS 2 Mini is much more powerful than the YAMAY and WillFul watches we discussed above. Apart from reliable heart rate and sleep tracking, it measures blood oxygen level and stress level.

SpO2 tracker (measures blood oxygen) is usually found in expensive Fitbit and Samsung watches. Amazfit deserve accolade to provide it in a watch priced under $100

As it offers more than 70 sports modes, it easily qualifies for a sports watch. But it’s design makes it equally perfect to wear it as a regular watch.

Comes with Satisfactory build quality, The watch is very comfortable to wear: So Light weight That you won’t notice you are wearing a watch.

It features a smaller 1.55-inch AMOLED display (354 x 306 resolution) as compared to the 1.65-inch on the GTS 2. The brightness peaks at 450 nits (perfect for the outdoor environment. Plus, AMOLED Display saves battery life.

Wrap Up:

Amazfit GTS 2 mini is an inexpensive watch that offers great value. It has a minimalist design but is not missing out on important features. Last longer than 10 days, and allows customization in watch faces and strap choice. Plus, It is backed up by an app that shows meaningful data.

Best Value Smartwatches for LG Smartphones: Under $250

Fossil Gen 5: Best Smartwatch For LG V50, V40 ThinQ

Features:

  • OS: Wear OS
  • Storage and RAM: 8GB and 1GB
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100
  • Display:  1.28-inch AMOLED, 416 x 416 resolution, 328ppi
  • Sensors:   Optical Heart Rate, Ambient Light, Barometric Altimeter, GPS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Microphone, Speaker
  • Battery: 24 hours
  • Water and dust resistance:  3ATM (30 meters)
  • Band Material: Silicone
  • Case size: 44 x 12mm
  • Strap size: 22mm
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, Wifi, NFC

Review:

If you prefer to keep your tech up-to-date, Fossil Watch Gen 5 will just be the right fit for your latest LG smartphone. We pointed out LG V50 ThinQ and V40 ThinQ not for the reason that only these models enjoy flawless compatibility with Fossil watch Gen 5, but due to the fact that they were released one after another.

The abovementioned smartphones are flagship models by LG, and so does the smartwatch by Fossil. Featuring a 1.28-inch AMOLED screen with a brilliant resolution, the watch looks classy on the wrist and if you can find one in matching color with the phone, there is nothing to add more. The watch and phone pair are a match made in heaven.

LG could only wish they had invested in tech like Fossil Gen 5. The smartwatch is a powerful gear on your hand with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM. Moreover, it is featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100, a formidable chip to chew down heavy apps.   The hardware is solid to deliver a top-notch performance.

With the Wear OS platform, you will have access to thousands, if not millions of applications. However, only the solid specs of this watch could allow you the freedom to use all of them.

It has a standalone GPS and NFC technology. What’s the deal with these two? Well, they allow you to leave your wallet and even your phone at home while running or exercising on the GYM. You can get all your important notifications on the watch through WiFi and can pay bills with a swipe.

A noticeable drawback, however, is its hard-to-comprehend battery modes and sluggish charging speed. Moreover, the watch barely lasts a day on a single charge. But only if you use it cautiously, it won’t disappoint you.

Our Verdict:

Fossil Gen 5 rivals top tier brands like Garmin, Apple and Samsung and we would only recommend you buying it for your LG phones if spending extra for flawless performance isn’t much of an issue.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2: Hardware Rocks, Software Has Limitations

Features:

  • OS: Tizen-based wearable platform 4.0
  • RAM & Storage: 768MB + 4GB
  • Display: 1.4in AMOLED circular (364 PPI)
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 9110 dual-core 1.15GHz
  • Sensors:  Altimeter, barometer, GPS, heart-rate monitor, Gyro, ECG
  • Battery: 340mAh (60H)
  • Weight: 2.4 Oz
  • Water and dust Resistance:  5ATM + IP68 / MIL-STD-810G
  • Color: Black, Pink Gold, Silver
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi adapter, 4G LTE enabled Standalone smartwatch

Compatibility Criteria:

Phones with Android 5.0 and RAM 1.5 GB or higher are supported. Also, it is compatible with the iPhone.

Review:

This watch by Samsung has features that allows it to change many hats. If you happen to read our other articles, and even guides from other sites, you will find Active 2 (and predecessor Galaxy Active) featured under several titles. To name a few: ‘Best smartwatch for Google Pixel’, ‘Best Rugged Smartwatches’, ‘Best smartwatch by Samsung’ and so on.

Galaxy Active 2 is run by Tizen OS (Samsung Patented OS For wearables. And this is the only chink in the armor. The problem isn’t with the OS itself, it runs flawlessly on samsung smartwatches. The fact that it is relatively new puts it at disadvantage. It has a small developer’s community and therefore limited applications.

The watch has1.4in AMOLED circular (364 ppi) display. It has an always-on display, and still it manages to last more than 3 days. (5 days, if you are careful with the usage) The rotating touch bezel is a breakthrough advancement when compared to the physical rotating bezel on previous models.

Active 2 is approved by all major electronic quality assurance standard for wearables (5ATM + IP68 / MIL-STD-810G Rated) Neither water nor dust can easily ingress unless of course if you apply extreme condition (submerging the watch below 50m, or beating it with a hammer)

Being a standalone watch, you can make calls, text, and listen to your favorite music even when your phone is away. Thanks to NFC, you can paybills on the go.

Thankfully, Active 2 has not compromised on comfortability despite being a tough smartwatch. Its aluminium casing makes it comfortable whereas the silicone band is easily replaceable.

Our Verdict:

Take our words for it, Samsung Galaxy Active 2 can prove to be the best smartwatch for your latest LG smartphones. Its class goes hand in hand with the modern design of LG V50, G8 X phones. That too without making you squeeze a huge sum of money for it.

Garmin Forerunner 235—Best LG Compatible  Smartwatch For Runners

  • OS: Garmin Proprietary OS
  • RAM & Storage:  8GB  / 32GB
  • Display: 1.23 inches Circular (215 x 180 pixels) Non-touch screen
  • Sensors:  GPS, GLONASS, ACCELEROMETER, GARMIN ELEVATE™ WRIST HEART RATE MONITOR
  • Battery: 9 days
  • Weight: 1.5 Oz
  • Water and dust Resistance:  5 ATM
  • Color: Two colors
  • Strap Material: silicone
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth and ANT+

Compatibility Criteria:

Garmin Forerunner 235 is even compatible with low-end Android 4.3 LG Models.

Review:

Though Garmin Forerunner 245 is in town, we preferred the 235 version for its cheap price point and relevancy as a runner’s watch. However, if you are a serious runner(preparing for a top-tier competition) you should skip this one.

Forerunner 235 seems to be the only running watch in town that is neither chunky nor feels heavy on the wrist. If you have experience with running watches, you will know the difference.

The 1.23 inches Circular display has less bezel than the Forerunner 225 screen, also it is brighter. Also, the screen resolution is a little higher than the predecessor. (215 x 180 pixels)

To the delight of runners, it has both GPS and GLONASS(Russian Satellite Alternative For GPS) sensors. So it tracks the location pretty accurately. The watch can track calories, sleep, steps, and even VO2 Max (a metric used by athletes for measuring the maximum amount of oxygen that can be used during workouts).

Apart from that, The watch offers all-day heart rate tracking, smartphone notifications, music controls, and access to Garmin’s Connect IQ app store.

It offers a week of battery performance on standard usage. However, if you turn on the GPS, it will last only 11 hours.

Our Verdict:

Garmin Forerunner 235 watch is a stylish sports watch for runners. It is compatible with almost all new LG phones, but the demanding app might not work in low-end models. It lives truly up to its name: provide accurate tracking and so help you train better.

SUUNTO Core: Best Value (ABC) Watch for LG Phones

  • Sensors:  Altimeter, barometer, compass,
  • Battery:  Year-long battery
  • Weight: 2.36 oz
  • Water and dust Resistance:  5 ATM
  • Color: Several
  • Strap Material: Elastomer
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth

Review:

SUUNTO Core isn’t suitable for regular usage. The very build of the smartwatch is for outdoorsmen and for backcountry excursions.

The smartwatch features a matrix type chunky display which is easier to view in outdoor conditions. But if compared to other models, the display is the Core’s one weakness. In high intensity light conditions (on a glacier), and/or with dark glasses, the screen is more difficult to read.

Also, the display is non-touch, you will have to navigate through the glove-friendly buttons. By the way, touchscreen display is redundant on an outdoor watch as it is difficult to navigate with gloves on.

The three sensors (Altimeter, Barometer, Compass) make it an ABC watch. With the help of them, it displays elevation and direction most accurately. The watch is also equipped with a storm alert which goes off with a sudden decrease in pressure.

Apart from these key sensors, it also has a thermometer that works perfectly within the range of -5F to 140F.

SUUNTO core is a waterproof watch and it performs as accurately underwater as it does on the top. However, underwater it has certain limitations. It can be safely submerged to 10m or 30ft underwater.

The watch has a non-rechargeable battery that lasts for 12 months. With No Fuss of changing the watch on extended trips, all focus would be on living the adventure. Core’s Mineral crystal, tough plastic case, and elastomer strap are just the right match for rugged outdoor use.

Our Verdict:

Suunto Core is a Decent ABC watch for outdoor adventure. The smartwatch is standalone by its design, so you don’t need to figure out the compatibility.

Fitbit Versa 3— Best For V10, G6, G8 Models

Features:

  • OS: Fitbit OS 5.0
  • Display: 1.58-inch AMOLED display with an improved 336 x 336 resolution.
  • Sensors:  SpO2 monitor, onboard GPS, optical heart-rate sensor,  sleep tracking sensor, accelerometer
  • Battery: Up to 6+ days battery life, 12 minutes fast charging
  • Water and dust resistance: IP68 rated
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 4.0

Review:

To the disappointment of LG phone users, Fitbit devices have compatibility issues with many of LG phones. You won’t receive text messages on the watch and might lose other functionality.

So apart from these LG Phones (V10, G6, G8), we highly recommend you to skip this watch.

Fitbit Versa 3 is a major upgrade from Versa 2. With Sleep and Heart Rate Tracking its bread and butter, it offers an impressive 6 days battery life. It competes for neck to neck with many expensive competitors like Apple and Garmin Smartwatches.

Versa strengths include its reliable tracking data and an impressive app. 1.58-inch Amoled display supports always-on mode but it drains the battery life of the watch.

There is a speaker-microphone pair in the watch but it only takes calls and cannot be used to control Google Assistant and Alexa. Though it doesn’t track swimming data, the watch can be submerged in water. You can swim and bathe wearing this watch.

There is less to complain about, but the very concerns raised by users are worth mentioning. The hidden button is quite stiff and can become unresponsive on occasions. There is a slight lag in performance and several advanced (running) features are missing.

Our Verdict:

With Versa 3, you will be never disappointed as far as the data accuracy and battery life are concerned.

However, only three LG phones are compatible with it: V10, G6, G8. Top mentions are features like built-in Alexa and Google Assistant, Fitbit pay, Seamless Blood Oxygen, sleep, and heart rate tracking. On top of that, you get 6 days of battery life.

Purpose-built Smartwatches for LG phones: Under $350

TicWatch Pro 4G —Best Wear OS Smartwatch For LG Phones

Features:

  • OS: Wear OS
  • RAM & Storage: 1Gb &  8 GB
  • Processor: Qualcomm® Snapdragon Wear™ 4100 Platform.
  • Display: 1.4″ Retina AMOLED (454 x 454)
  • Sensors:  GPS, Blood Oxygen, heart rate, Glonass+Galileo,
  • Speaker and Mic: Yes
  • Battery: 3 days
  • Weight:  42.3 Oz
  • Water and dust Resistance:  10 ATM (up to 100m)
  • Color: Shadow Black
  • Strap Material: silicone (Other bands are also available)
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth and GPS, 4G LTE

Review:

Ticwatch Pro 3 arrived with a bang: it enjoys a decent battery life, the latest, most powerful Google OS, and is a well-rounded watch. As compared to the competitors with expensive price tags(Apple Watch 6, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3), it offers maximum value in a decent budget. Our best pick for Latest LG phones.

Powered with Snapdragon Wear 4100, it can chew down heavy apps. You can stream youtube videos in high quality and the watch wouldn’t disappoint. The might processor is backed by 1GB RAM and 8 GB storage.

Only the Ticwatch Pro 3 has the power to instigate such a divisive opinion about it. People love it, thanks to its display. People hate it and they blame it on the large display. In our opinion, the watch might have a large dial, but it doesn’t look chunky. 1.4″ Retina AMOLED (454 x 454) screen has an always-on feature. The matte black finish adds to its aesthetic appeal.

As a fitness tracker, it is reliable for heart and blood oxygen tracking. Sleep tracking isn’t up to par though. Ticwatch pro has more than 13 sport modes to fit your needs.

The watch is IP68 rated. Good. We expected the same. It is reinforced with stainless steel and high-strength nylon with glass fiber. In a line, it is built to last. And in the comfortability department, Mobvoi has managed to keep it 30% than its processor, Ticwatch Pro.

Our Verdict:

Ticwatch Pro 3 Flawlessly runs all popular Google Wear OS top titles like Spotify (including offline support), Google Pay, telegram, and so on, thanks to the fastest Snapdragon Wear 4100 Processor. It has a built-in Google assistant for the fans. So-so Design, but the watch truly delivers what it promises.

Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire—Multisport GPS Watch For LG Phones

Features:

  • OS: Garmin Proprietary OS
  • Storage:  16 GB
  • Display: 1.1″ (218 x 218)
  • Sensors:  GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, ACCELEROMETER, GARMIN ELEVATE™ WRIST HEART RATE MONITOR, Altimeter, Barometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Thermometer.
  • Battery: 10+ days Without GPS
  • Weight: 3 Oz
  • Water and dust Resistance:  10 ATM (up to 100m)
  • Color: More than 10
  • Scratch-resistant sapphire lens: Yes
  • Strap Material: silicone (Metal, leather bands are also available)
  • Preloaded topographic and cycling maps: Yes
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth and ANT+

Reviews:

Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire has its name over the highly scratch resistant glass that signifies durability and robustness. Garmin has not tried to strike a balance between a regular and outdoor watch. With this model, they have aimed for a multisport GPS watch for outdoor incursions.

The full detail of all its specifications is beyond the scope of this article, but will touch upon the most important ones.

Garmin Fenix 5X has ditched the Wear OS, and rather it relies on its own proprietary GARMIN OS. The latter is fast and reliable, but has limited applications.

In the display department, Fenix 5 embodies a formidable look. 1.1″ Display with 218 x 218 Resolution touches the baseline for smartwatch display. The metallic bezel with exposed screw gives it a rugged outlook, which it surely is.

Rated 10 ATM, the watch can be submerged up to 100m of water. Its thick casing adds considerable weight on the wrist and thus render it unsuitable for running. But if you can handle the weight, Fenix 5 is one of the most accurate watches for running, cycling, golfing and swimming.

It comes with the Ultimate multisport GPS watch with full-color TOPO U.S. mapping, routable cycling maps and other outdoor navigation features ( the list goes on and on) You might take a week to explore all the fitness features of the watch, or maybe more.

Last but not least, it can last up to 12 days in smartwatch mode. That is, you don’t use GPS and advanced tracking features. On extended hiking trips, you should use it on UltraTrac™ battery saver mode. The watch lasts more than 35 hours in this mode.

Our Verdict:

Fenix 5 Sapphire is a formidable GPS watch for LG users who happened to be explorers or fitness enthusiasts. Other than heavy weight and chunky design, you won’t have anything to complain about this watch. It tracks data accurately, has scores of useful sports and outdoor creation features and has a long battery life.

Buying Guide:

LG Phones have Android as the software running their hardware, so it is safe to presume that whatever accessory works best with the Android is compatible with the LG phones.

However, you must be scrupulous in matching the latest technology. The latest powerful Samsung, Garmin or Suunto watches will not work with the dying out LG model.

Why?

The proprietary apps of the smartwatches, and their OS (which in most cases is Wear OS previously known as Android Wear) works flawlessly on and with modern smartphones. These phones meet the hardware requirement.

Didn’t get the point?

“Try installing 1 GB proprietary Samsung App on a four year old LG phone. It will destroy the battery performance and crash more often than not.”

As a rule of thumb, pick smartwatches that are not released two years before or after the smartphones released by LG.

Which Smartwatch OS Should You Pick For LG Phones?

For LG phones, you would have two options: Wear OS by Google and Proprietary OS by the likes of Samsung, Garmin and Suunto.

Wear OS was dying out until recently Qualcomm lent a helping hand to it by launching two extremely new sets of hardware for wearables. Snapdragon Wear 4100 and Wear 4100 Plus.

By now,  only Mobvoi’s new Ticwatch Pro 3 has incorporated it, and as per the user response on Reddit, Snapdragon Wear 4100 has made Wear OS to resurrect after slowly dying in the past two years.

Google’s neglect is to be blamed here, but now with a powerful hardware, it can’t look the other way.

Tizen based Samsung Watches have somewhat of a monopoly in the niche market, but the OS has its own limitations. Samsung has failed to incubate an organic community of developers around its proprietary OS and, therefore, having a hard time expending the software to a gigantic scale.

So if you prefer the latter, you will have to compromise on the app’s availability. These platforms would only have basic, need-based apps.

Other Key Features To Consider?

The below-mentioned features have nothing to do with LG phone compatibility. Rather, you should look for them in every decent watch.

Water and Dust Resistance:

IP 68 rated watches are now becoming the baseline for everything that goes over $50. Alternatively, your watch should be ATM 5 rated. (Another Internationally Accepted Standard)

In Layman terms, the watch should at least be submerged up to 5m in water for more than 10 minutes.

And if the Watch is Military Grade Standard Rated (Samsung Galaxy Active 2), be carefree of its durability and resilience. It is a tough, rugged watch.

Battery Life:

As a rule of thumb, the watch should make it through the day on a single charge (Using GPS on-and-off) A non GPS watch should last at least 3 days on a single charge.

Keep in mind that the labeling on the watches is usually marketing gimmicks. A reputable watch would fulfill half the promises. And ultimately after a few months of usage, the battery will die out for most watches. So be prepared for it.

Comfortability:

The band and weight of the watch are the two key features that decide its comfortability. We won’t comment on the weight as it is rested with the user’s personal liking.

But for comfortability, the basic silicone band works fine. However, if you have a peculiar allergy to a specific watch band, pick the watch that allows for interchangeable straps option.

Choice Of Sensors:

It totally depends on users’ personalization, but we usually recommend that the smartwatch have GPS and NFC for accurate tracking and contactless payment.

A GPS watch is a must if you have an older phone version. Why? Connected GPS(watch uses GPS of your phone) takes a heavy toll on the battery life of the watch. LG smartphones are already infamous for their short battery life, so connected GPS is a path you should rather not take.

If you are a fitness enthusiast, make sure that it has Heart Rate tracking sensors (the one that tracks in real-time), a sleep tracker, blood oxygen level tracker, and the likes of these health-related sensors.

For Outdoor adventurers, sensors like Altimeter, barometer, compass, and thermometer are of utmost importance. Storm detection can be a good plus.

Wrap Up:

We hope that this article has helped you buy the best smartwatch for your LG phone. This list as well as any other such list are lacking unless positive feedback from users fills the hole.

If you are currently using a smartwatch that works flawlessly with the LG phones, do mention it in the comment section as it would help other users to make an informed decision.

Along with your recommendation, kindly contribute your view of LG smartwatches if you have any experience with any. Your feedback is highly valuable to us.
